The Challenge
Communication across Operations was decentralized, inconsistent, and often duplicative. With over 2,500 employees across multiple business segments, teams were working in silos, relying on email chains, outdated shared drives, and isolated intranet pages that didn’t reflect enterprise priorities or enable visibility.
The need was clear: a single source of truth. A centralized platform where pan-Operations content could be shared, governed, and accessed with clarity and consistency.
My Role
As the strategic lead for internal communications, I drove the development and launch of the new SharePoint hub. My role spanned visioning, stakeholder alignment, content governance, and adoption planning.
I was responsible for:
· Defining the purpose, scope, and success metrics of the platform
· Aligning with AVP+ leaders and business segment representatives
· Designing the homepage structure and navigation framework
· Establishing monthly governance with LOB site owners
· Leading launch planning, onboarding, and adoption strategy
What I Delivered
· A centralized SharePoint site with tiered content ownership and branded page templates
· Strategic homepage architecture with designated areas for enterprise-wide, segment-level, and team-specific communication
· Training and onboarding materials for site owners and contributors
· A pan-Operations launch campaign and rollout plan
· A governance model to ensure long-term content relevance and cross-LOB alignment
The Outcome
The launch transformed how Operations communicates. Teams gained visibility into broader initiatives, leaders had a consistent platform for message delivery, and colleagues knew exactly where to go for updates.
The site continues to scale, with strong adoption and engagement across all business lines. It’s more than a tool—it’s a foundational shift in how information moves through the organization.
